CAMMP’s philosophy is to enhance a child’s genuine understanding of mathematics and its connections to thinking, reasoning and real world problem solving. Individual attention is given to each CAMMPer by specially trained master level teachers. CAMMP was founded by Dr. Michael Green & Dr. Jack Piel, UNC Charlotte faculty in Elementary Education. CAMMP is owned and directed by Crystal Pompée and Erik Stitt, current educators, who studied under Dr. Green and Dr. Piel. CAMMP is an International Award winning experience, recognized for its creativity and innovation. CAMMP has been written about in professional journals as well as The Charlotte Observer. Hands-on manipulatives, from addition to algebra, prepares your children for math at their next grade level. At CAMMP, children from rising 1st to 6th grade discover the fun in mathematics.
